Stuart Abernathy is a highly strung, yet caring individual, and owner of the unpopular toy store, The Inner Child. A traditionalist of play, he refuses to stock electronic or "war" toys, causing great contention in his family when his son, Alan, takes in a shipment of Small Soldiers.
While initially neutral in the Small Soldiers conflict, he later joins the Gorgonites in defence of his home.

Stuart Abernathy is the husband of Irene Abernathy and father of Alan Abernathy and had move to a new town after Alan got expelled from two schools.
Trivia[]
- Despite being "against war toys", The Inner Child does in fact stock traditional war figurines, showing he is not above hypocrisy.[1]
